Abbiamo registrato Richard e Brian nel 1999 dopo la pubblicazione del loro secondo album, "Filter". Non amano il quartiere a luci rosse bensì amano il loro home studio:

"Ween took their big record advance and bought houses and then they recorded "Pure Guava" on a four track. That's what we're talking about, getting rid of the studio and that dinosaur factory environment."
