Toazted ha avuto l'occasione di fare una chiacchierata con la splendida Heather Nova. Era in tour e ha suonato sul Pepsi Stage ad Amsterdam nel marzo 2006. L'abbiamo incontrata e abbiamo parlato di questo tour in acustico e le abbiamo chiesto come mai suoni così tante delle sue vecchie canzoni.

"I changed the last few years by becoming a mother. It changed my perspective on life a lot. It brings out the best in you."

Abbiamo parlato con la cantante Heather Nova al Dutch Lowlands festival su Red Bird, il nuovo album di Heather, che stava promuovendo proprio a quel festival. Toazted le ha chiesto di quest'album, del tour e molto altro! (Registrata nell'agosto 2005)

Lei scriveva già canzoni prima della moda delle cantanti e cantautrici al femminile, scoppiata negli anni novanta, e noi l'abbiamo intervistata su questo aspetto e sulla spiritualità.

Abbiamo incontrato Heather dopo la sua performance al Lowlands Festival del 1998 e l'abbiamo intervistata sulla vita on the road.

"You get these strange cravings for wanting to be at home and make pasta and watch videos and really mundane simple things. That's what you miss, but I'm not complaining, it's exciting."
