Abbiamo intervistato gli Oceansize. Nel 2003 hanno Pubblicato 'Effloresce' in 2003 ed ha ricevuto delle recensioni entusiastiche. Alcuni anni fa sono stati votati miglior band senza contratto di Manchester, ma non aspettatevi di sentire il sound degli Stone Roses nella loro musica, loro devono lew loro influenze a Helmet, Tool e Jane's Addiction. Gli abbiamo chiesto se è stato difficile andare contro il filone degli Oasis:

"We started to get this backlash of people who kind of took the music offensively because it was like we were invading their turf with music that doesn't represent their town. It took along time for that scene to die."
