Abbiamo intervistato gli Oi Va Voi. Nella primavera 2004 erano in città per suonare al Paradiso di Amsterdam. Nik Ammar e Leo Bryant, chitarrista e bassista, ci hanno parlato dell'esperienza di suonare in Israele:

"It was an emotional experience. As a semi Jewish band it was a bit of a homecoming. The reception was fantastic but their politics give us mixed feelings. We were given ambassadorships from the Ministry of Tourism."

Nel febbraio 2004 abbiamo intervistato il trombettista, vocalist e pianista Lemez Lovas sulla musica e sul successo degli Oi Va Voi.

"When we try to use different types of music or be influenced by different types of music we try to do it with respect. I like to think that if people listen to our music and they know something about the culture the music comes from they also like it."

Gli Oi Va Voi sono una band inglese davvero unica che mescola beat urbani moderni beats con i suoni dell'Europa dell'Est, del Medio Oriente e ancora più in là. Nel 2003 abbiamo intervistato Sophie Solomon e Lemez Lovas sul loro sound unico e sul rapido successo.
